Policy – NORTH TORONTO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION
The North Toronto Baseball Association (NTBA) is committed to respecting
the personal privacy of individuals who visit our Web site and/or
of personal information that we collect, use and disclose in the
course of operating our Association.
This
is a summary of the privacy policies and practices of the NTBA.

NORTH TORONTO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION does not automatically gather
any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number,
e-mail or street address during your visit to its Internet site.
This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily,
usually through providing it to us voluntarily via e-mail, or
registering with us directly or through Quickenrollment.
- All
personal information you do provide is protected under the federal
Privacy
Act. This means that, at the point of collection, you will
be informed that your personal information is being collected,
the purpose for which it is being collected and that you have
a right of access to the information.
- The
types of personal information we may collect about you includes
your name and home contact information, the names of children,
family members or others that you may be registering in a program
being offered by the NTBA, as well as particulars of birth, residency
or business affiliations.
- The
NTBA collects, uses and discloses personal information for the
primary purpose of providing our registrants and their families
with baseball associated activities and services, including for
the following purposes:
- To
establish and manage baseball leagues, teams, activities, training
and services;
- To
share personal information with third parties for the purpose
of providing baseball related activities and services;
- To
contact and communicate with our registrants and their families
and other individuals for the purpose of conducting research about
our organization, baseball activities in general, and to evaluate
registrant’s satisfaction;
- To
distribute our publications and invitations to programs and events
to individuals who are registered with or have shown an interest
in our Association;
- To
maintain, develop and manage our document management, knowledge-management
and records databases;
- To
develop and manage our business and operations;
- As
permitted by, and to comply with, applicable legal or regulatory
requirements or provisions;
- We
do not use the information provided or compiled by us for disclosure
to anyone outside the NTBA except as specifically authorized by
our registrants or as advised at the time of registration.
