Tryouts for North Toronto Major Mosquito A-AA All-Star

We
would like to invite players born in 1999
who are interested in competitive baseball to attend the tryouts
for the 2010 North Toronto Major Mosquito team. Our program focuses
on the development of young competitive baseball players in a fun,
constructive and positive environment.
Tryouts**:
When: September 26, 2009 1:00PM to 3:00PM - October
3, 2009 1:00PM to 3:00PM
October 4, 2009 9:30AM to 11:30am

Please be at the park at 15 minutes before each practice to meet
the coaches and warm-up.
**All
players must attend at least two of the tryouts to be considered
eligible to play on the team.
Equipment
Please bring your baseball glove and wear your baseball cleats,
athletic clothing and a protective jock to the tryouts.
Vacation Dates
We understand that vacation and camp are a very important part of
family life and child development. However, we cannot develop a
team with players that will miss several weeks of activities. Specifically,
we will not consider players who are away for more than 5 weeks.
We recommend that vacation or camp should take place in July. Attendance
in August (City Championships) and during Labor Day long weekend
(Provincial Championships) is mandatory.
Team Commitment
Our team plays in the Toronto Baseball & York/Simcoe
Baseball Tier 1 Interlock League. Starting 2010, from
January to April, the team we will start practicing in a baseball
training facility once a week. Between May and the first week of
August, we will play between 20-25 regular season games (approx.
1 to 2 per week) and enter 3-4 tournaments. In addition, we will
practice twice per week (attendance at practices is not optional).
Finally, we will compete in the Toronto Baseball Association City
Championships and work hard to the Provincial Championship (Labor
Day Weekend).
NOTE:
ROSTERED NTBA MAJOR Mosquito ALL-STAR PLAYERS are EXEMPT from NTBA
Mosquito House League play.
Please
