North Toronto A's Minor Midget (Players Born In 1996)

The North Toronto A's are pleased to invite all players born in 1996 who are interested in competitive baseball to try out for the 2012 Minor Midget team.  We expect to play at a Tier 2 level this season.

Tryouts are scheduled at Sentinel Park (Keele/Sheppard) as follows:

Friday Sept. 30, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Saturday Oct. 1, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sunday Oct. 2, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm (by invitation only)
Rain Dates (if necessary) tba

Our team philosophy involves having fun, being part of a team, and increasing your skills by playing baseball at a higher level.  We also try to balance the time commitment required (by you and your family) to play at this level with the other things we all have going on in our lives.  Our plan is to practice one night per week through the Winter, beginning in January 2012.  There will be a (approx.) 20 game season; likely 3-4 tournaments, and a minimum once a week practice.  We would not discourage kids from going to overnight camp, but we strongly suggest this happen in July, when we will attempt to schedule fewer games.  Attendance will be mandatory during the TBA and OBA playoffs (mid August through Labour Day).

2) Please wear a jersey with a number on it to the tryouts
3) Bring a water bottle
