Philosophy
Our philosophy is focused on the long term success and development of each of our players. Our focus is on teaching and learning and we are not driven by short term success at the expense of development and growth. We believe in the value of “the team” and playing the game the right way.

Team Selection
Players will be selected for the team based on 3 criteria:

1) Attitude
2) Commitment
3) Athleticism and Skill

- No previous rep baseball experience is required to play on the team. Players without prior rep experience that are eager to learn, athletic and have the proper attitude will receive equal consideration to make the team.
-All players (whether on the 2010 team or not) will receive equal consideration and opportunity.

Team Commitment
Players are expected to commit for the entire season. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, you will not be able to uphold the time commitment. Vacation time should be taken in the first two weeks of July. Players must be available for the TBA and OBA Playoffs. Players will be asked for their tentative summer plans at the first tryout.

Season Schedule

  • We will be playing in the Tier 1 TBA-YSBA League
  • Expect to play 4 tournaments, as well as TBA and OBA Playoffs.
    • 3 in Ontario in May and June
    • At least 1 US Tournament in July
  • 2-3 practices per week depending on league and tournament schedules.
  • Home Field: Talbot Park (Bayview and Eglinton)

Coaches
All our coaches are recent university graduates and have extensive Baseball Ontario coaching and playing experience in addition to CIS Baseball experience. The coaches are all NCCP certified and still actively involved in baseball.
