High School Community Involvement Hours

The North Toronto Baseball Association (NTBA) is a not-for-profit largely volunteer organization whose mission is to provide youth baseball to the local community. Over 900 kids (ages 5-19) are registered to play baseball in the NTBA.

What is Community Involvement?

  • 40 hours of community involvement activities
  • a requirement for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • a volunteer activity – not for pay or credit
  • a constructive contribution to the community

High school students who wish to do volunteer work for the NTBA can get credit towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirement to complete 40 hours of community involvement activities.

Such work includes but is not limited to:

  • Coaching or assistant coaching
  • Umpiring
  • Providing training and practice sessions

If you are interested in taking part in this program, please complete the registration form below. You will be contacted at some future date.

Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that their schools will accept the volunteer work done for the NTBA as credit towards community involvement hours.
